Sunflowers in the Fall
When do you find out what your team is made of?
When push comes to shove.
That’s a hard lesson to learn but especially for a business owner. My team (my core team ie. my husband and my best friend) came through to deliver a beautiful fall sunflower wedding for a very special couple in our lives. Nathan (Neal’s little brother) married Dakota on Sat. Sep 8th, at the beautiful rustic Barn at Back Creek.
The bride chose red roses and sunflowers as the theme for her flowers. We coupled that with lush dark greenery, birch accents and small hints of babies breath. A last minute change in the weather forced the event indoors but still left a lot of room for a beautiful ceremony and reception. This was a hot, hot sticky wedding… The flowers were able to hold up the entire day and nothing wilted (shew).
This past weekend, we completed 2 beautiful weddings. For our tiny 250 sq ft shop, this is a feat and a milestone for us. It is the propeller that we need to continuing building this fabulous business.
This weekend proves the heart of my team and the willingness to strive in the face of adversity! Onward we went. Be on the look out for all of the amazing weddings that we completed in Fall of 2018!!
